Stepping out of the Ivory Tower.....Into the Real World
My dear dear princess Steffi has finally took her very first baby step out of her Ivory Tower..... into the Real World !!!Yes, she started her day of work in this marverlous place called KALLANG PLACE!
But WAIT.... before our very dainty princess paved her way through the treacherous journey of the real world. Queen Mother or "Mother-at-your-service" has to clear the coast first:
1) Identify the place
2) Check the Street Directory
3) Locate the exact spot of the real world
and most IMPORTANT OF ALL:
4) Provide FUNDING - very very important, otherwise, princess will starve, how???
"Mother-at-your-service" (aiyah, very loh-sor, MYS for short lah) under the indoctrination of our very reputable gahment must also do the right thing. You know, our gahment very generous one; gives bonus for marrying early, bonus for having baby early, bonus for having not one, but two, three and four babies. Now "MYS" go one step up : BONUS FOR WORKING too!
Umm... wonder when our gahment also give bonus for working to the cizizen huh???
Wait- side track abit - you know gahment also very kind one, only fine $5000 if you skip NS. So Mr Junior Leong know what to do lah, just prepare $5000, sup-sup-sui lah!
Anyway, back to our key topic here - don't play play hor, princess do very tedious work entering data; very tiring for the precious eyes you know.
Also, also, princess almost suffered attack to her faint heart becos many ji-go-pek stare at her at canteen, and many many China Man stare at her at corridor. Very freaky leh!
Aiyah, tried asking the over-the-hill aunties to attract such attention lah. Make her walk up and down a hundred times, sway her hips 360 degrees and I can bet you not one ji-go-pek will bat an eyelid. So, all the old hag out there, eat your heart out lah - this is what I call the "Law of Diminishing Returns" - the more years you put on, the less stares you get!
Anyway, I do wonder ALOUD if there is any Return on Investment (for my funding) or not???

aiyah, forgot to mention, must also be a bit gifted or talented lah! Play something musical and must be known by alot of people one, so that can perform and make money. But please huh, don't be like that ah-pek at the MRT station, play the er-hu. That kind of musical instrument, da-boleh lah!
So if you got $5K and got a bit of grey matters or some talents the mainstream people like us don't have one, sure can come back in one piece even if you didn't do the almighty service to the gahment.
